The Carpenters Encounter planning committee is very pleased to invite you to Carpenters Encounter 2008 ~ World Contact Days. We’re organizing this international event for all who love and admire the otherworldly far beyond the norm music of Karen and Richard Carpenter.

The Passage lp was issued 30 years ago (+ some) in 1977, when the cosmic “Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft” transmitted through the radio airwaves. So do come, we beg you, and celebrate all things Carpenters with other like-minded beings.
If you didn’t make the grand 1999 Carpenters 30th Anniversary Celebration with circa 150 fans from 12 countries, here’s your chance! Many committee members from that event are involved with Carpenters Encounter 2008.
